 Arte, Sol, Playa y Navidad en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Por tercer año consecutivo se celebra en la playa de Las Canteras una nueva edición de nuestro ya tradicional Belén de Arena, el mayor de toda España y uno de los que más calidad artística poseen a nivel internacional. Para ello y continuando con nuestra apuesta por la cultura y la promoción turística, desde la Concejalía de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria a través de la Sociedad de Promoción de nuestra ciudad, en colaboración con el Patronato de Turismo de Gran Canaria, contamos en esta ocasión con ocho de los mejores arenistas del mundo cuya contrastada calidad quedará reflejada en las obras que modelarán entre el 27 de noviembre y el 4 de diciembre para que todos podamos contemplarlas hasta el final de estas fiestas navideñas, el 7 de enero.
Sólo con agua y más de 250 toneladas de arena, estos maestros de la escultura nos asombran esculpiendo las estampas más  significativas de la Navidad: desde la Anunciación hasta el Nacimiento en el pesebre y la ofrenda de los Reyes Magos. Frente a la Plaza Saulo Torón, Las Canteras vuelve a convertirse en un museo al aire libre en el que playa y arte se unen para disfrute de todos, ciudadanos y visitantes, propios y extraños. A todos les ofrecemos un motivo más para disfrutar, también durante la época navideña, del mejor clima del mundo en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Art, Sun, Beach and Christmas in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
 For the third consecutive year, a new edition of our now traditional Nativity Scene Sand Sculpture, the largest in all of Spain and one of the ones with the greatest artistic quality on the international level, takes place on Las Canteras beach. For this reason and continuing with our commitment to culture and the promotion of tourism, from the Tourism Department of the City Hall of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria through our city's Promotion Company, in collaboration with the Tourism Council of Gran Canaria, we have on this occasion eight of the best sand sculptors in the world whose proven quality will be reflected in the works they will sculpt between 27 November and 4 December so that we can all view them until the end of the Christmas holidays, on 7 January.
With only water and more than 250 tons of sand, these master sculptors will amaze us by sculpting the most significant figures of Christmas: from the Annunciation to the Birth in the manger and the gifts of the Magi. In front of the Plaza Saulo Torón, Las Canteras again becomes an open-air museum in which the beach and art are united for the enjoyment of everyone, citizens and visitors, residents and strangers. We offer them all another reason to enjoy, also during the Christmas season, the best climate in the world in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Kunst, Sonne, Strand und Weihnachten in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Am Strand „Las Canteras“ findet zum dritten aufeinanderfolgenden Jahr eine neue Ausgabe unserer schon traditionellen Sandkrippe statt, und zwar die größte von ganz Spanien und eine, die auf internationaler Ebene höchste künstlerische Qualität besitzt. Wir setzen weiterhin auf Kultur und touristische Promotion, vom Tourismusdezernat der Stadtverwaltung von Las Palmas de Gran Canaria über die Promotionsgesellschaft unserer Stadt, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Tourismuspatronat auf Gran Canaria, und wir zählen für dieses Ereignis auf acht der besten Sandkünstler der Welt, deren abgehobene Qualität sich in den Werken widerspiegeln wird, die sie zwischen dem 27. November und dem 4. Dezember gestalten werden, damit wir alle diese bis zum Ende dieser Weihnachtsfeierlichkeiten am 7. Januar bewundern können.
 Diese Skulpturmeister werden uns nur mit Wasser und mehr als 250 Tonnen Sand in Erstaunen versetzen, indem sie die bedeutendsten Weihnachtsgeschehnisse nachbilden: Von der Verkündung bis zur Geburt in der Krippe und das Geschenk der Heiligen Drei Könige. Gegenüber von der Plaza Saulo Torón, verwandelt sich Las Canteras erneut in ein Museum im Freien, in dem sich der Strand und die Kunst vereinen zur Freude aller, Einwohner und Besucher, Einheimische und Fremde. Wir bieten allen einen Grund mehr, um auch während der Weihnachtszeit das beste Klima der Welt in Las Palmas auf Gran Canaria zu genießen.
